Bloggers spoke out on issues and views went uncensored. New voices were heard on the Internet. People championed the opposition.
The PAP won 66.6% of the votes.
Today, everyone talks about social media and how it is going to change politics in Singapore. Bloggers write about issues, Facebook and Twitter are used as well as platforms to spread ideas, opinions, views. Of course, some old bloggers have gone while new bloggers have come. People champion the opposition.
