Today was fairly eventful, at least by my standards.

Free Comic Book Day

So I reached GnB at 1215pm. Only 15 minutes after their doors open and already, Love and Capes and TMNT were finished! So no Love and Capes for me. Sad. However, I did get some free comic books including Blackest Night, Archie, Avengers etc. I also bought Deadpool classic.

Illuma Bugis

We visited the new mall @ Bugis. Now quite as populated as the new Tampines 1 mall though. Shops were nothing new and most of them weren’t open anyway. Poked around in Otaku House and Comic Connection but I couldn’t find any nice handphone straps. I really want one to replace my broken tonberry.

17 Again

Watched 17 Again at The Cathay. I really enjoyed it and to Mer – I think Zac Efron’s sooooo cute now! I’m trying to deny it though so probably never going to bring it up again. The movie was entertaining enough although it was nothing great. Typical body-switch show, but the eye-candy? :)

Arsenal

When I was at Bar None on Thursday, I was compelled to watch a replay of the Man Utd-Arsenal CL match on some big screen TV there. Depressing. Today, after many months, I watched an Arsenal match live. Well, yes, they weren’t really in that much danger of losing to Pompey I guess but it was nice to watch them win. And who the heck were those players on the bench? I must have lost touch with Arsenal for too long.

Paris Hilton’s BFF

In between the Arsenal match, I watched parts of Paris Hilton’ BFF reality show. It was like a car crash – horrifying but I could not look away. There are no words to describe it.

Some crap happened with regards to work as well today but I’m not going to blog about it. Let’s keep this a happy day.
