This policy explains what personal information Flying-Low collects when you visit or buy from flying-low.net, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
- WHAT WE COLLECT
When you browse the site: your IP address and basic technical/browser information, collected automatically for security and to keep the site running properly.
When you make a purchase: your name, email address, and billing details. Payment card details are never seen or stored by Flying-Low directly – these are collected and processed entirely by our payment provider, Paystack.
When you sign up for updates or the newsletter: your name and email address, stored with our email service provider, Mailchimp.

- To process and deliver your order, including free future updates to books you’ve purchased
- To send you update notifications and, if you’ve opted in, occasional newsletter emails
- To respond to support questions you send us
- To keep the site secure and functioning correctly
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- THIRD PARTIES WE SHARE DATA WITH
- Paystack (payment processing) – handles and stores your payment details securely; Flying-Low never sees your full card number
- Mailchimp (email/newsletter delivery) – stores the email list of subscribers and customers who’ve opted in to updates
- Bunny.net (file delivery) – processes your IP address briefly while delivering a purchased download
- Xneelo (web hosting) – our website’s hosting provider, based in South Africa
Some of these providers may process data outside South Africa (for example, Mailchimp operates internationally). Each of these providers maintains its own security and privacy standards.
- COOKIES
Our site uses cookies required for basic shop functionality – keeping track of your cart, your selected display currency, and your login session. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. - HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
We keep order records as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, and providing ongoing free updates to books you’ve purchased. You can ask us to remove you from the mailing list at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly. - YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information (for example, under South Africa’s POPIA, or the EU/UK’s GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at fred@flying-low.net. - CHILDREN
